Mühlbacher Klause

This historical fortress was once the border between the states of Görz and Tyrol, customs house, hunting castle and fortification in the fight against the French in the time of the wars of independence in Tyrol.


Now it is possible to visit the fortress of the austrian-hungarian emperor from inside.

St. Martin’s Church in Pfunders

Also typical for this traditional farming valley is the existing St. Martin’s Church. An excellent work of the late Gothic period and very expressive, the church is a precious treasure from olden times.

The cathedral in Brixen

Original the cathedral of Brixen is a building from the times of the Ottons. In romantic times (1200) there was a rearrangement and also in baroque times 1745 and 1754 the cathedral got a new building.
